Angela is a licensed and board certified acupuncturist. She completed her master’s degree in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine at Texas Health and Science University in Austin, Texas. In her undergraduate years as an Asian Studies major, she spent a term in China where she was first exposed to food as medicine and the curative properties of herbs. She observed how the culture embraces health principles through many facets of life which she now knows to be the pillars of Chinese medicine: diet, connection with nature, meditation, exercise, acupuncture and herbal treatments.
Later in life, through questions regarding her own health, she began working with an acupuncturist. Angela’s treatments as a patient made such an impact on her that she decided to learn how to practice this medical system and give her time to others seeking their own health answers.
Working with patients is a joy for Angela. Through reestablishing health by alleviating pain, restoring mental health and balancing emotions, she has seen patients regain parts of themselves to live fuller, more enriching lives. Angela is a general practitioner and her areas of interest include chronic and complex conditions, pain management, autoimmune support, mental and emotional health, pregnancy support, menopause support, migraines, and allergies
