An infrared salt sauna is a type of sauna that combines the principles of infrared heat therapy with the benefits of salt therapy.
Infrared Heat Therapy: Unlike traditional saunas that use steam or hot air to heat the body, infrared saunas use infrared heaters to emit light that is absorbed by the skin. This form of heat can penetrate deeper into the skin and tissues, offering benefits like improved circulation, muscle relaxation, and detoxification. Infrared saunas typically operate at lower temperatures than traditional saunas, which some people find more comfortable.
Salt Therapy: Salt therapy, or halotherapy, is the inhalation of microscopic salt particles as they are dispersed into the air. The salt’s natural properties, including its mineral content, can help with respiratory conditions, skin issues, and overall wellness. The salt can also help to create a calming and rejuvenating environment.
Combining these two therapies, an infrared salt sauna aims to offer a synergistic experience, leveraging both the deep-penetrating heat of infrared technology and the therapeutic effects of salt. The result is intended to provide relaxation, skin benefits, respiratory improvements, and overall wellness in a single session.
